RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Smart Grids, Power Electronics

Power system stability analysis, integration of large-scale and distributed renewable energy technologies, operation, planning, and power system economics, convex optimization techniques, smart grid technologies, applications of computational techniques for modeling & simulation of power systems, and application of computational intelligence techniques such as data mining into analysis of power system

OTHER INTERESTS:

Since 2011, he has been an active volunteer of the IEEE, and the Power & Energy Society (PES). He has served as Chair of the IEEE Thirty First Central America and Panama Students Convention (CONESCAPAN XXXI), in 2012. He has also served as Vice Chair of the IEEE Young Professionals Affinity Group for the Latin America and The Caribbean Executive Committee (IEEE Region 9), in 2017. Currently in IEEE, he is the Chair of the Young Professionals Affinity Group and SIGHT for the IEEE Central America and Panama Council, Vice Chair for both the Honduras Section, and for the PES Honduras Chapter as well.
